About

Hi, I'm Evie!

Welcome to Healthy Hashi Living, a community created just for women like us, battling Hashimoto Disease. My name is Evie, and I’m beyond excited to share my journey of empowerment, education, and support with all of you.

You might be wondering how this all started. Well, let me take you back a bit. Imagine this: you’re constantly feeling exhausted, dragging yourself through each day, and wondering why your energy is always on empty. You visit your primary care doctor, hoping for answers, only to hear, “It’s all in your head.” Yep, that’s right. One doctor dismissed my symptoms of fatigue as "psychological". Frustrating, right?

Determined to find answers, I switched doctors. The new one, while more sympathetic, was still perplexed. “I don’t know why you’re so tired. You should be feeling better now that you’re taking medication,” she said. I knew something wasn’t right. The fatigue was overwhelming, and I felt like I was barely living.

At this point, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands. I insisted on getting my antibodies tested for Hashimoto Disease. Lo and behold, the results came back positive. Finally, I had a name for what was causing my symptoms. But the journey didn’t stop there. I had to strongly insist on getting a referral to see a dietician, understanding that diet plays a crucial role in managing Hashimoto Disease.

Through this challenging journey, I realized how important it is to have a supportive community. That’s why I created Healthy Hashi Living. This isn’t just a blog; it’s a lifestyle community where we can share our stories, tips, and strategies to live our best lives despite Hashimoto Disease.

Thank you for being part of Healthy Hashi Living. Let’s make this a space where we can all grow, learn, and support each other. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Together, we are stronger!
